Individual Driving Records (MVR’s)Record Contents:
Motor Vehicle Records contain state driving record information back at least three years depending on state policies. Some states are making infractions involving drugs or alcohol a permanent part of a driver's motor vehicle record. Each report typically contains physical description, license information, infractions, home address and previous driver's license number.
NOTE:
These records are subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and can only be ordered for the purposes of offering employment or insurance coverage. We now require documented evidence that your request is for either employment purposes or insurance issuance. A copy of the insurance application or employment application is typically what will be needed.
In addition, the following states now require their own form be filled out:
AK, AR, DC, GA, IL, CO, NH
You will be required to fax a copy of the signed release to Dataland.com at 818-450-0359 before the report can be processed. The forms will be emailed to you at the time an order for one of these states is placed.Search Requirements:
